I love my bowl! I used this seller because they will send you a sound clip of the actual bowl you're looking at. For a singing bowl, the sound is all-important, so this was the determining factor for me. I was leaning towards a hand-hammered bowl over this one until I heard them both play, & I loved the clear sound this bowl made. I requested a blue cushion, and they very kindly sent one! At first I could only make my bowl sing using the wooden part of the mallet; the suede part didn't do anything. I also made it "chatter" a lot! My bowl started singing before we reached the end of the video. It has a very strong, resonant tone. Highly recommend this merchant!
